Larry Rychlak – President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO, Larry Rychlak is responsible for the overall strategy and direction of Rand Worldwide. Prior to this role, Larry served as the Company’s President and Chief Financial Officer managing the financial and administrative functions of the company including Finance, Legal, Human Resources and Information Technology. Larry also managed the Company’s largest division, IMAGINIT Technologies, during this time. With over 30 years of financial and management experience, Larry brings a track record of improving operating efficiencies, maximizing financial performance, strengthening company’s financial position and streamlining operations. His background includes several senior management positions in both private and publicly-held organizations, business consulting experience, and as a Senior Manager with an international accounting and consulting firm.
Prior to the merger of Avatech Solutions and IMAGINiT Technologies, Larry was with Avatech for five years, where he was the President and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Avatech, Larry was with Environmental Elements Corp., where he held the positions of interim President and Chief Financial Officer.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. and a M.B.A. from Loyola University Maryland.
Nedim Celik – CIO and Vice President of Corporate Information Systems
Since 2008 Nedim has had responsibility and oversight for the corporate information and business systems at Rand Worldwide. In this capacity Nedim focuses on the optimization and integration of key business systems to drive operational efficiencies and profitability across all divisions of Rand Worldwide. In addition, Nedim manages the Software Development Group at Rand Worldwide which develops intellectual property, products and applications for resell through IMAGINiT Technologies and other global resellers. Nedim was also responsible for the cloud datacenter/hosting and customer implementations at Rand Secure Data division.
Prior to Rand Worldwide, Nedim was Information Technology Director at The Brattle Group and spent 3 years in this capacity at Moldflow Corporation up until its acquisition by Autodesk. Previous roles include other Information Technology positions at Basis Technology Corporation, Vital Signs, Inc. and Trinon Digital Engineering.
Nedim studied electrical engineering at Sarajevo University and earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Nedim speaks fluent German.
Scott Hale – Vice President, IMAGINiT Services
Scott Hale has overall responsibility for the IMAGINiT services organization which includes technical experts focused on Autodesk’s manufacturing, civil and building products as well as our Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis team and Facilities Management technical experts. In this role, Scott is highly focused on ensuring our clients leverage their technology investments effectively in order to turn their visions into reality. Backed by IMAGINiT’s deep bench of technical experts, the Services group provides training, support, implementation, data management and custom workflow definition and development services that help make our clients more efficient and more productive.
For the past 21 years, Scott has been developing and delivering quality professional and consulting service solutions that help clients achieve and exceed their engineering productivity objectives. Prior to the 2011 merger of Avatech and IMAGINiT Technologies, Scott spent 11 years at Avatech in various management roles and most recently served the combined companies as the Director for the Manufacturing Solutions Group. Before IMAGINiT and Avatech, Scott was co-Owner and Vice President at CAMTECH for 7 years and before that held a client services role at Eagle Point Software.
Scott holds a Bachelors in Industrial Technology from William Penn University. He also holds several product, industry and consulting certifications from Autodesk and is frequently invited to speak at industry conferences.
Katie Johnson – Vice President, Human Resources
Katie Johnson is currently Vice President, Human Resources for Rand Worldwide. In this role, Katie has overall responsibility to lead a HR organization in implementing broad based reward, talent acquisition, engagement and development strategies that support the achievement of business goals and objectives, creating and leading employee engagement initiatives and sustaining Rand’s corporate culture and values.
Katie joined Rand Worldwide in 2015. Prior to joining Rand, Katie served as Director, Global Human Resources at Ciena Corporation. Other previous roles include senior HR leadership positions at public, global corporations, as well as privately held investment firms including Cambridge Information Group, Prometric and Metlife.
Katie holds a B.S degree in Political Science from Salisbury University and a MA in Human Resource Management from Marymount University. Katie lives in the Baltimore area with her husband Doug and their two children Charlotte and Colin.
Timothy Johnson – Senior Vice President, IMAGINiT Technologies
Tim Johnson is responsible for sales and customer satisfaction for the Autodesk related business conducted through Rand Worldwide’s IMAGINiT Technologies division. Tim manages the sales execution for all of the IMAGINiT offices located throughout the United States and Canada.
Tim joined the company in April 2009 as Director of Sales for the Western Region for the company’s IMAGINiT Technologies division. In October 2011, Tim was promoted to Region Vice President as his role grew to encompass not only the Western Region but our IMAGINiT Technologies offices in the southeastern United States. Tim was appointed as Senior Vice President in September 2013. Prior to joining Rand Worldwide, Tim’s career including working for several Fortune 500 companies including Lanier Worldwide and McKesson Provider Technologies in various sales and sales leadership roles.
Tim graduated from Southern Arkansas University and holds a B.B.A degree with an emphasis on sales, marketing and economics.
John Kuta – Chief Financial Officer
John Kuta is a seasoned accounting professional with nearly seventeen years of accounting experience including over nine years leading the accounting and financial reporting functions at Rand Worldwide as well as seven years of financial audit experience. John’s focus is on streamlining and improving processes through the effective use of technology across the accounting and business management functions. John’s experience at Rand Worldwide includes the management of all key accounting functions including financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, budgeting as well as the accounts payable and receivable functions.
Prior to his promotion as Chief Financial Officer, John most recently held the position of Vice President of Finance and Controller at Rand Worldwide. He has been with Rand Worldwide since January of 2005. Prior to Rand Worldwide and Avatech Solutions, John worked at American Express Tax & Business Services as well as CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Chantale Marchand – Vice President
Chantale Marchand oversees the marketing and branding activities for the global divisions under the Rand Worldwide corporate umbrella. In addition to her marketing role, Chantale manages the ASCENT division of Rand Worldwide where she holds responsibility for sales and product development as well as the Rand 3D division where she oversees sales and the technical training and implementation teams.
Chantale joined Rand Worldwide in 2009 from Foliage Software where she was responsible for corporate marketing activities across multiple industries. Prior to Foliage, Chantale ran North American marketing for Moldflow Corporation. In addition, Chantale held various marketing roles at network communications startup Sitara Networks and ERP provider Marcam Solutions.
Chantale holds a degree in English from the University of Georgia and completed graduate school studies in English at Georgia State University.
Bill Zavadil – Senior Vice President, IMAGINiT Professional Services
The primary focus of Bill’s team is on the architecture and delivery of solutions that save our clients time and money while improving the quality of their products. These solutions include consulting, implementation, support, training and workflow customization. Helping customers derive more business value from their Autodesk technology investment is the top driver for Bill and the team of technical experts he oversees.
Prior to the merger with IMAGINiT, Bill Zavadil’s 15-year track record at Avatech, and 18 years of industry experience, made him a strong leader for the technical services team. Bill’s previous experience included roles such as industry sales director for Avatech’s manufacturing team, and before that as manager for their Midwestern offices, where he built and grew the region’s professional services business dramatically. His industry experience, including positions at a variety of engineering and construction firms and emerging mobile technology platforms provides him with great perspective into our clients’ needs.
Bill graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and holds a B.S. in business management and marketing with an emphasis on economics.
