Autodesk Certification validates your knowledge and skills unique to a specific version of an Autodesk application. Obtaining certification enables experienced users to gain a competitive edge in their industry, and receive special recognition for their knowledge of a specific Autodesk software application. It also allows you to showcase your software skills to prospective employers, advance your career opportunities, and enhance your credibility among your colleagues.
Certification is granted when you successfully pass a specific certification examination. Depending upon the application, the official Autodesk certification program allows you to obtain the Certified User (a prerequisite to obtain Certified Expert status) or the Certified Expert credential. Obtaining the Certified User credential is a prerequisite to obtaining Certified Expert status. Although certification for a particular version of an application never expires, it is not considered current unless you have passed the latest recertification exam, and the full exam for the prior release.
