Executive Team
Larry RychlakChief Executive Officer
Larry has been the Company’s CEO since November 2014 and as such is responsible for the overall strategy and direction of Rand Worldwide and its subsidiaries. Over the years that Larry has spent with the Company, he has served in several roles including President and Chief Financial Officer. With over 40 years of operational and financial experience, Larry has amassed a track record of leading growth, both organically and through numerous acquisitions, improving operating efficiencies, maximizing financial performance, strengthening the Company’s financial position and streamlining operations. His background includes several senior management positions in both private and publicly-held organizations, business consulting experience, and as a senior manager with an international accounting and consulting firm.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. and a M.B.A. from Loyola University Maryland.
John KutaVice President & Chief Financial Officer
John Kuta is a seasoned accounting professional with nearly nineteen years of accounting experience including over eleven years leading the accounting and financial reporting functions at Rand Worldwide as well as seven years of financial audit experience. John’s focus is on streamlining and improving processes through the effective use of technology across the accounting and business management functions. John’s experience at Rand Worldwide includes the management of all key accounting functions including financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, budgeting as well as the accounts payable and receivable functions.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Bill ZavadilPresident/Chief Operating Officer
In Bill’s role as President he oversees the day to day operations for all of the divisions of Rand Worldwide. Having served many years in various customer facing roles, Bill has demonstrated a sharp understanding of our customers complex business challenges and how they can combine best in class technology with process efficiencies to solve these problems. Under Bill’s leadership, his unwavering focus on the success of our customers along with his emphasis on operational excellence, ensures that Rand Worldwide is best positioned to deliver results.
Bill brings over 30 years of operational expertise and industry experience to this role. Most recently, Bill has demonstrated success in senior leadership roles that included Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of the Professional Services, leadership of the Sales and Consulting teams at IMAGINiT Technologies and Avatech Solutions prior to its merger with IMAGINiT. Bill graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and holds a B.S. in business management and marketing with an emphasis on economics.
Jason BarnettVice President of Sales, Manufacturing and Product Lifecycle Management
Jason brings more than 25 years of experience in the design, data, and process management software industry to his role. He leads sales teams that recommend technology solutions to customers who are looking to execute on digital transformation and innovation initiatives. His passion for business development, with a focus on helping customers achieve their intended business outcomes, are key leadership skills that he instills in the teams he manages and brings to every customer engagement.
Prior to IMAGINiT, Jason worked for Advanced Solutions for 12 years which was acquired by IMAGINiT in early 2019. While at Advanced Solutions he held several sales leadership roles serving customers looking for manufacturing design and data management solutions. His experience selling design engineering solutions started in 1996 when he joined CAD CAM Plus as an account executive. Jason studied chemical engineering at Purdue University and Business Administration and Management at Indiana University-Purdue University.
Jamie Chevalier Vice President of Sales
Jamie Chevalier brings more than 25 years of experience guiding sales teams to success in the Autodesk reseller channel. In his role of Vice President of Sales, he has oversight of all sales activity conducted by the IMAGINiT, Rand 3D and ASCENT divisions. Jamie’s use of technology and analytics to track the progress of his teams against target has led to the consistent exceeding of revenue targets. An in-depth understanding of our clients’ pain points and business challenges enable him to coach his teams to find the best solutions that enable their customers to succeed.
Jamie brings tremendous sales expertise to this position. His most recent role at IMAGINiT was as Vice President of Manufacturing and Government business where he led these teams to tremendous growth. He joined IMAGINiT in 2019 as a result of the acquisition of Advanced Solutions, Inc. where he held various executive level roles including most recently President of the Design Software business. Prior to Advanced Solutions, Inc. Jamie held a variety of sales roles over a decade spent at AEC CADCON, Inc. until they were acquired by Advanced Solutions. Jamie graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture.
Mike HagedornVice President, Professional Services
Having held various leadership positions in both small and large organizations, Mike brings over 25 years of experience in the professional services field to IMAGINiT. His expertise lies in developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure that services engagements meet intended client outcomes. With a focus on operational efficiency and delivery excellence, Mike is an expert in leveraging process to build best in class services and consulting teams.
Mike's collaborative approach fosters a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. He strongly believes in building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders alike, creating a customer-centric approach throughout our organization. Prior to IMAGINiT, Mike held leadership roles at companies such as Accenture, Double Diamond Solutions, Infor and Rimini Street.
Dennis HelmickVice President of Sales, Government and Utilities
Dennis has been with IMAGINiT since its inception in 2000. He joined the team as an account executive and from there moved into a variety of sales management and leadership roles eventually being promoted to Vice President in 2014. He has successfully managed regional sales teams in both the US and Canada and his ability to successfully navigate the often-complex process of selling into government organizations, resulted in the opportunity to build a dedicated Government team. The success of this team expanded under Dennis’ guidance when we entered into the Utility sector and saw tremendous opportunity helping Utilities digitally transform the way they operate.
Dennis brings incredible knowledge of the Autodesk products and platforms to each and every customer engagement. His understanding of the intricacies of the government ecosystem and his long standing relationship with DLT, a TD Synnex Company, allows Dennis and his team to add value to our customers every step of the way. Prior to IMAGINiT, Dennis was Director of Technical Services at Data Handling Company. He has a degree in Computer Science from University of Wyoming.
Kevin KukerVice President, Training and Support Solutions
With over 30 years of experience working in the Autodesk channel partner ecosystem, Kevin has established himself as a leader in building and managing customer support, back-office operations, professional services and dedicated training delivery teams. At IMAGINiT he is responsible for overseeing our team of Autodesk Certified Instructors, our best-in-class customer support organization as well as managing the evolution of ProductivityNOW, our eLearning platform. Kevin also manages the technical training team for our Rand 3D division as well as the content development group of our ASCENT division.
Committed to giving our customers the best experience possible when it comes to support and training, Kevin leverages voice of the customer feedback loops to ensure delivery excellence. Joining IMAGINiT as a result of the IMAGINiT and Avatech Solutions merger in 2010, Kevin consistently looks for ways to develop and challenge his team which in turn provides an excellent experience for our customers.
Chantale MarchandVice President, Marketing and Customer Success
Chantale Marchand oversees the marketing, branding and demand generation activities for all divisions of Rand Worldwide. Data driven insights, program investments and decisions are the core focus of the marketing team and as such they leverage marketing technology to help amplify, track and report on the performance of key marketing tactics.
Chantale joined Rand Worldwide in 2009 from Foliage Software where she was responsible for corporate marketing activities across multiple industries. Prior to Foliage, Chantale held marketing positions at Moldflow Corporation, Sitara Networks and Marcam Solutions. Chantale holds a degree in English from the University of Georgia and completed graduate school studies in English at Georgia State University.
Alan MorseVice President of Sales, AEC and Construction
Alan brings deep experience and understanding of how Autodesk’s building and construction products transform the way architectural, civil and construction firms do business. With more than 25 years of experience providing Autodesk technology solutions to customers to help them reach intended business outcomes, Alan has seen almost every challenge that today’s firms face.
Starting his career as an Account Manager at DTI, he learned the ins and outs of selling technology. His sales career expanded with a variety of sales roles at Microdesk over a 9-year period which saw him move from Regional Account Executive to Vice President. Joining IMAGINiT Technologies as a Vice President in 2014, his focus on mentoring and developing sales professionals and managers, took him from regional to national roles. With the 2019 acquisition of Advanced Solutions, Alan was afforded the opportunity to manage the entire AEC sales organization across the US and Canada.
Alan graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of New Hampshire.
Jason PfeifferVice President, Rand Simulation
Jason has spent nearly 25 years in the product design and simulation space serving in leadership roles in engineering, sales and business operations. As Global Vice President of engineering at Blue Ridge Numerics (OEM of CFD software CFdesign, now Autodesk CFD), he found his passion for building teams, culture, business models and go-to-market strategies that strengthen top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability. After Blue Ridge Numerics, Jason founded Informative Design Partners, an engineering services start-up, which was acquired by Rand Worldwide in 2012.
Jason held various consulting and sales enablement leadership roles within Rand Worldwide. In 2018 Rand Worldwide became an Ansys Elite Channel Partner and the Rand Simulation division was founded. Today Jason leads the division and has successfully grown revenues, expanded into new territories and scaled the technical and sales teams to meet customer demand. He thrives on driving positive business outcomes for customers and by extension, Rand Simulation. Jason graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Lori SrbM.A., Director of Human Resources
Lori joined Rand Worldwide in 2022 as a Sr. Benefits Specialist and in a short time was promoted to Director of Human Resources. In this role, Lori oversees the function, culture, and impact of HR across the Company to support its business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of employees.
Prior to joining Rand Worldwide, she spent 29 years with Farmers Mutual of Nebraska where she held various leadership roles in Operations and Human Resources. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska overseeing the association’s daily business operations, human resources, and education programs.
Lori graduated from Doane University, Lincoln, Nebraska, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management.
Kim ValdesVice President, Sales Strategy and Operations
Kim has held sales operations roles her whole career. She not only sets direction for the sales organization but helps ensure execution against that vision. She is laser focused on ensuring that every interaction our customers have with IMAGINiT, brings value. Her responsibilities include oversight of the teams that are responsible for customer advocacy, contract renewals, order management, and sales onboarding. Kim’s well-established relationships with Autodesk, ensure that IMAGINiT is always aligned and on the forefront of adapting to Autodesk business changes so that our customers experience business continuity. In addition to this, Kim shines when working with customers to bring clarity and simplicity to complex licensing and purchasing processes.
Kim was with Avatech Solutions for 11 years before joining IMAGINiT as a result of the Avatech Solutions merger in 2010. Kim graduated from the University of South Florida.
Dominic YuVP of IT and Business Systems
Dominic Yu was promoted to VP of IT and Business Systems in 2021 and has been with Rand Worldwide for over 10 years. His role oversees the company’s IT Infrastructure, Business Systems, and Security. In addition to IT, Dominic manages the corporate real estate portfolio working closely with management on CRE projects and operations.
Dominic joined Rand Worldwide in 2012 from Autodesk where he managed new technology deployments and IT Security initiatives. Prior to Autodesk, Dominic oversaw the global IT Infrastructure operations at Moldflow Corporation and other Boston based tech startups.
Dominic holds Bachelor of Art degree from Hamilton College. In 2020 he completed certifications as both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

Peter H. KaminChairman of the Board
Peter H. Kamin is the founder and Managing Partner of 3K Limited Partnership. For the 11 years preceding the formation of 3K, Mr. Kamin was a founding member and Managing Partner of ValueAct Capital. ValueAct grew into a leading investment management organization during Peter’s tenure. Prior to founding ValueAct Capital in 2000, Mr. Kamin founded and managed Peak Investment L.P. Peak was a limited partnership, organized to make investments in a select number of domestic public and private companies.
Mr. Kamin is presently a Director of Tile Shop Holdings, MAM Software Limited, and several privately held companies. Mr. Kamin has previously served as a Director of a number of public and private companies.
Mr. Kamin holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard’s Graduate School of Business and is a trustee of Tufts University.
Philip LivingstonBoard Member
Mr. Livingston served as Chief Executive Officer and a director of Ambassadors Group, Inc., a provider of educational travel experiences and online education research materials, from May 2014 to October 2015. Prior to joining Ambassadors Group, Mr. Livingston was Chief Executive Officer of LexisNexis Web Based Marketing Solutions until October 2013. He joined LexisNexis in April 2009 as Senior Vice President of Practice Management and served in executive management positions from April 2009 to October 2013. Mr. Livingston has, in the past, served as Chief Financial Officer for Celestial Seasonings, Inc., Catalina Marketing Corporation and World Wrestling Entertainment.
From 1999 to 2003 he served as President of Financial Executives International, the leading professional association of chief financial officers and controllers. In that role he led the organization’s support of regulatory and corporate governance reforms culminating in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. In the past, he has served on numerous public and private company boards including Broadsoft Corporation, Insurance Auto Auction, Cott Corporation, MSC Software and Seitel Inc.
Mr. Livingston earned a BA in Business Management, BS in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a Member of the AICPA.

Dave SchneiderBoard Member
Dave Schneider is a Partner of River Birch Partners with over 25 years of business experience including 20 years in private equity and debt investing. His experience includes investment origination, capital raising, transaction structuring and execution, and working closely with portfolio companies at the board and management level.
Dave is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science from Bryant College and a Master of Business Administration from Bentley College. Dave is presently a Director of Universal Window and Door, Vital Delivery Solutions, and Calloway’s Nursery.
